Telaga Waja Rafting is located in Rendang District, Karangasem Regency, eastern Bali, the second longest after the Ayung River. The water comes from several springs in the mountains near Mount Agung, the highest mountain in Bali and is considered sacred by the native Hindus, such as the springs of Lipang, Arca and Telaga Waja. There are several smaller rivers flowing into Telaga Waja, such as the Yeh Sah River which emerges from natural springs. The combination of tributaries and springs contributes to high water discharge, and is used by local governments for drinking water supply. Tourist attractions along the river are very popular, especially white water rafting.
Telaga Waja River is perfect for beginners, very safe, nothing to worry about. Everything was very tolerable, from the impact of the raft on the rocks and the rapids. There is easy access just less than 5 minutes walk to get to the starting point, In one raft there will be a maximum of 4 people and accompanied by 1 professional rafting guide. During the rafting you will pass several bamboo bridges, waterfalls and the final stunt will be jumping on the squirrel dam which is 4 meters high.
